Is it weird to feel like you’re a bit disgusted by gays? Specially those who put on makeup and act like girls. I have nothing against gays, if a person is nice to me I’m nice back no matter who they are. But lately I’ve seen a lot of gay guys doing makeup vids on insta it feels like it’s a trend now to be gay and very feminine, I just feel like the world is getting dumber and more disgusting, but at the same time feel a bit of guilt over my own thoughts...

i appreciate the honesty in what your feeling. & everyone is entitled to feel how they feel. it’s actually really mature of you that you’re able to notice what you feel isn’t something your necessarily proud of feeling.
i am someone who has absolutely no issue with self expression & guys who wear makeup. i actually love it. but i get not everyone is as open minded as i’d hope. i think maybe try to justify why to you wearing makeup as a guy translates to “dumber” & “disgusting.” because that’s an interesting perspective to have on that. not everyone would agree with that. it’s how you look at it & honestly a lot of how you look at the world & your beliefs were most likely passed onto you by your environment & family. we’re all actually living with beliefs we didn’t make ourselves but were engrained into us. it’s hard to break out of the only thing you know. but i think it’s cool you’re trying to. you’re trying to open your mind & feel a different way about it.
start by looking at it different. to me boys wearing makeup, people doing drag & kinda everything under that umbrella, is a symbol of freedom. even if it doesn’t directly apply to you (which it doesn’t for me) you can still recognize how much more accepting the world is slowly becoming. & that is what’s fucking cool. everyone should be able to live how they want. isn’t there something you always wish you could do but society would shame you for it? or something you never had the courage to try in fear of being rejected by your peers? now imagine that judgment going away.
i want to live in a world where everyone is as happy & free to be who they want. just because guys are doing this now doesn’t mean they didn’t want to years before. it’s just now finally accepted. the worlds not becoming disgusting, it’s just changing. & it’s opening it’s mind faster than ever.
you can either join us or stay in your beliefs. im not here to say your thoughts are wrong or bad but maybe rethink what your standing for a little. why be against more people in this world enjoying their authentic life & being happy? that’s enough for me
